Being alive is a daunting, and at times, unbearable task. Attempts to truly comprehend this life, the world, and my role in it are futile at best; yet I find myself consumed by it. That being said, I believe the answers to these questions are stored deep inside us all, as we no doubt serve a specific purpose here and are a part of Something beyond our capacity to understand.
On a personal level, my art is a devotion to God through which I feel It continues to create and experience Itself vicariously, while allowing me to explore and better understand myself. I don’t have an overtly didactic mission in my art per se, but rather, I aim to visually engage universally human conditions, concerns, emotions, and feelings, so that the viewers might reflect on and into themselves for the answers to their own questions.
